A King Without a Crown

"The silence of the people is a warning for the king." If thats the case then there is a person that ultimately knows that the people love him. We has spectators have to wait until after July 1, a date that has become synonymous too potential inquirers that are banned from discussing there desired interest until that date. That is the date of the biggest free agent lineup in NBA history. But there is really only one person that everyone is excited to know his future destination. Lebron James aka The King, aka King James, aka Mr. STOP STARING AT MY LEMONADE. I must say though, i've never known of a king switching kingdoms or being unable to win the coveted championship crown. Regardless of his lack of achievement, Leron James is talented enough to gardner this much admiration. He is on the verge of being the next billionaire athlete. Though in America, we refer to Lebron James as "The King", in some markets like China; the reverie of being called a king is reserved for those that win a championship. With out a championship, Lebron James is merely The Sheriff of Nottingham from Robin Hood and I guess Kobe would be the real King that always seems to show up at the end to claim is crown.

Many are speculating where James is going while others have taken to the internet to woo the would be to there city. I can tell you where King James is not going; the Chicago Bulls for starters. James has said his-self that the Chicago Bulls organization has no loyality to those that work for there franchise. He refered too how the two people that brought sports fame to the city is not involved with the Bulls; ie. Jordan and Pippen. We all also know how they treated there last coach, physcally assaulted by the teams Executive Vice President and fired in the off season even though the team had a great year. No, chicago is out the question and so is the NY Knicks; we all know that playing for the knicks is career suicide. "Let me be clear" (in best Obama voice) for the Knicks to win, they would need more than Lebron James. Even if they had Jesus at point gaurd, D. Wade at shooting gaurd, King James at small forward, Allah at power forward and the Buddha at center with Spike Lee refereeing the game, the NY Knicks still couldn't win. So, that only leaves a few teams that can actually afford Mr. James, I just hope that the Kings decision is based on which team can take him to the highest platform and not which team can afford his price.
